Contemporary Table
Console table made using reclaimed Cherry timber. The idea for this design came from observing a container crane operating in the port of Cork. The table top is Finger Jointed which has added to the angular contemporary designed frame.
Weaved Stool
This stool is made from Birch faced plywood. The seat is woven from webbing sourced in County Donegal.
Oak Lamp
Contemporary Oak lamp with a rope effect jute covered cord. The shade is made of polypropylene flexible sheet and available in a range of colours. I have also made this lamp using Elm. The Oak lamp resides in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Walnut Desk
Contemporary wave inspired desk made of Walnut. The table top is made up of end grained veneered pieces.This desk now resides in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Yew Stool
This simple stool is made from a Yew tree from Fota County Cork that fell following a storm. A sliding dovetailed joint is visible on the side of the seat.
Yew Table
Large dining table made from native Yew. This timber was sourced in West Cork, the table now lives north of the river Lee, Cork city. The 8'x 3' table top sits on trestle legs and can be removed for ease of storage for the customer.
Walnut Stool and Baubuche Stools
Contemporary three legged stools made from Baubuche board or Walnut timber. Detail of sliding dovetailed joints visible on the side of the seat.
Contemporary Kitchen
Contemporary kitchen made using Baubuche in East Cork, Ireland. The walls are covered with grooved paneling.
Walnut Table
Walnut table. Note the visible dovetailed joints on this veneered table.
Walnut Console Table
Walnut console table. The table top is made up of veneered end grain. It has two tapered legs and is wall mounted. There is a single drawer for storage.
Sail Lamp
Desk lamp made from recycled materials. The base is made from Iroko base. The lamp shade is made from flexi plywood. The cord or flex has a decorative jute covering to give the rope effect adding to the nautical feel.
Stool
This stool is made of Birch faced plywood. I used a modern material to reinterpret a tradition Irish stool.
Art Trolley
Art trolley on wheels created for junior art classes at the Crawford Art Gallery, Cork city, Ireland.

My name is Cian O’Driscoll. I am the Furniture Maker behind Cians Creative Concepts.
I love working with timber, good design and making furniture. It’s who I am.
I make high-end bespoke furniture, handmade locally in Blackrock, Cork, Ireland.
I am a graduate of GMIT Letterfrack, Ireland’s prestigious furniture college.
I create inspirational furniture reflecting clients’ lifestyles ensuring their ideas can become a reality.
I have many years experience of the furniture making industry having worked on one-off commissions, with bespoke kitchen and furniture makers and in the fitted furniture industry.
Not only am I dedicated to quality, I care about the choice of materials.
I use only the finest of materials; all timbers are FSC approved and sustainable. I particularly enjoy working with native timbers.
Regardless of the customer’s budget I work closely with them to ensure that they can have the finished product of their dreams.
